I am a writer, educator, certified CliftonStrengthsfinder coach, and currently work as the Director of Every Child Portland, an organization that mobilizes the community to uplift children and families impacted by foster care. I am a thought leader on diversity, race, and inclusion in the private and public sector, more specifically higher education, non-profit, and faith-based arenas.
I've also spent several years in student affairs building and establishing mentoring programs that increase the retention rates of underrepresented first-generation college students. I received my Undergraduate Degree in Secondary Education and a Masters Degree in Community Psychology, and have almost a decade of combined experience in diversity-related work, program development, advising executive leadership, as well as facilitating and creating trainings and assessments centered on individual and team development, dynamics, and growth.
